Terms & Conditions:

• Shikhar Premium plywood, boards and doors are built specifically for internal purposes only.

• In case of Door-fitting, there should be a 1/2-inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor.

• If the plywood or door touches the floor or walls of the building, any resulting damage will not be accepted as a claim.

• In cases of furniture fittings such as racks, cupboards, etc, there should be a 1/2-inch gap between the plywood and the walls for proper ventilation.

• We recommend using 25mm block boards for making cupboards instead of 18mm plywood or 19mm block board to avoid bending issues. (If 18mm plywood or 19mm block boards are used, bending can occur then claims will not be accepted.)

• Plywood should not be kept vertical as keeping it vertically will lead to bending of the plywood, however it should be kept on a perfectly flat and leveled surface.

• Plywood and doors should not come in contact with regular water or cold environments.

• In case of door fittings, the door frame (Chaukhat) must be made from 100% seasoned wood.

• Unacceptable damage like mishandling, missing parts, joint issues and other mechanical, chemical or any other reasons for which damage will not be covered.

• Our products like plywood, block board, doors or any other materials which is manufactured by us and is used with other brand products, then the damage to our product will not be subject to warranty.

• Acceptance of claims will only be for houses or buildings which have a proper treatment for termites, borers and waterproofing and is verified by a certified laboratory along with chemical treatment certificate.

• Edge banding or margin beat must be used on the sides and corners of any type of doors manufactured by us.

• 3-inch marble skirting must be used while using plywood and blackboard for any furniture fittings(kitchen).

• The replacement period for purchased plywood, boards and doors with any manufacturing defects is 7 days.

• No claims will be entertained for damages caused by natural causes such as earthquakes, fires, floods, etc.

• Any effect of infected external factors or foreign objects to our products will not be considered for replacement or compensation.

• Damages caused by mishandling by the end user will not be covered under any circumstances.

• Moisture or other factors leading to plywood and doors being bent or damaged due to improper installation or moisture will not be considered for claims.

• Claims for damage due to improper use or improper application by the carpenter will not be accepted.

• Our company’s plywood, boards, and doors are not covered under warranty if exposed to insect infestation or inappropriate environmental conditions.

• Claims for damages like termites, borers, or waterproofing will only be accepted if verified by a certified lab along with chemical treatment certificate.

• High quality 4 stainless screws must be used while the door is being fit on the frame.
